2.4 Subject and scope of the contract
- SBB is planning to procure a dedicated Security Monitoring solution for monitoring signalling applications via the data network used.
With this RFI, SBB would like to obtain an overview of which providers offer which services in the area of security monitoring specifically for the area of security installations. With this Request for Information (RFI), SBB carries out a corresponding market analysis. With this RFI, all interested providers of corresponding security monitoring solutions are invited to submit information about their services as well as realistic target prices.

A public tender for the procurement of an appropriate product follows. (probably 4th Quarter 2021)

3. Conditions3.1 General conditions of participation- Participating providers shall provide their responses by the prescribed deadline. Participation and submission of the completed RFI questionnaire is voluntary and non-binding. Non-participation in this RFI does not lead to exclusion from a possible later tender. Answering the RFI does not give the information provider any advantage for a possible later tender. Participation in this RFI does not lead to a preliminary referral with regard to a possible later call for tenders.
The relevant findings of the market survey will be announced with the subsequent call for tenders, if any.
