2.1 Project title of the acquisition

Vulnerability and Compliance Management Tool, VCMT

2.2 Subject and scope of the contract

The VCMT is a central building block for the establishment and operation of a new service "System Health" of the IT-SeC. The VCMT must provide suitable support for this service and thus enable it. The VCMT to be procured is to be used for the detection, assessment and display of vulnerable end devices on the ETH Zurich network. The VCMT is to use vulnerability scans to record the current state of the end devices, identify vulnerabilities, compare them with target states and assess the threats. It maintains a structured end device directory with meta information from surrounding systems and can thus prepare the relevant information on a role-based basis.
