This aim of this Request for Information (RfI) is to provide a market analysis that will clarify the following key questions:

State of the market:
- Which potential providers of smartphone-based tracking systems exist today (ticketing and experience in public transport are not a prerequisite for inclusion)?
- Are the participating companies available as development partners for a potential industry-specific travel data collection solution in the future?

Travel data collection quality:
- How accurate are the various travel data collection systems based on the different procedures and technologies used (e.g., with and without beacons)?
- How can we ensure the necessary level of quality for successful integration into a nationwide ticketing system?

Anonymity:
- What options do the participating companies offer for anonymous automated data collection?
