With the present invitation to tender, MeteoSwiss is seeking a long-term partner for the provision of instruments for the measurement of temperature and humidity. The advertised procurement object consists of two lots.
Lot 1 encompasses a basic service (BS1.1) and three options (OP1.1 - OP1.3) for the procurement of reference instruments for climatological application. Lot 2 encompasses three options (OP2.1 – OP2.3) for the procurement instruments for meteorological and real-time applications such as nowcasting, extreme weather monitoring, weather warnings, etc. -

3.3 Reasons for the decision to award- Reasons: The surcharge in Lot 2 was awarded the contract in KELAG AG because it was the only provider to meet all selection criteria and technical specifications and was able to achieve the maximum number of points in the product tests (AC03).

4.5 Procedures for appeal- In accordance with Article 56 paragraph 1 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA), a written appeal against this decision can be lodged with the Federal Administrative Court, P.O. Box, 9023 St. Gallen, Switzerland, within 20 days of notification. Any appeal is to be submitted in duplicate and must include what is being sought, the grounds for appeal, evidence and the signature of the person lodging the appeal or his or her representative. A copy of this decision and available evidence must be included.
The provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) on legal holidays do not apply in accordance with Article 56 paragraph 2 of the PPA.
