2.1 Project title of the acquisition

Implementation / Migration DSpace standard software for Zurich Open Repository and Archive (ZORA) of the University of Zurich

2.2 Subject and scope of the contract

The Zurich Open Repository and Archive (ZORA) is essential for the implementation of UZH's Open Science Policy. As an institutional publication database, it provides a central infrastructure for the University Library (UB) and the faculties and is essential for evaluation as part of the annual Academic Report (AkaBer). The current software solution is end-of-life and needs to be replaced. For this reason, the existing open source standard software DSpace (https://dspace.lyrasis.org/) is to be used, which will be implemented by an external provider and will also provide 3rd level support.
