2.2 Subject and scope of the contract

The item to be procured is the AWAP-SW. The AWAP-SW is a system component of the AWAP-Light system and is to be implemented in the project of the same name. AWAP is an abbreviation for “automated warning processes”.
AWAP-Light is a system for generating and outputting warning messages for employees in workplaces near train lines for approaching railway vehicles by initiating an automatic and timely warning signal for the relevant route based on information from the LST (control and safety technology), including all organisational, administrative and technical concerns.
